In the previous generation of Launches control resolution was limited to the eight possible values represented by the pads columns, but Novation have improved this with a new 'nudge' feature. It's a clever use of the available pads, but it means that you lose access to Scene launching when Mute, Solo or Stop are active, which you don't on the Mini or Pro. Tools to add chance: note chance and velocity chance features let you define probability of notes and velocity values, generating surprising variations to your patterns, or humanized variation in their dynamics. To get you started, Mini Mk3 ships with Ableton Live 10 Lite, a two-month trial for Splice, and add-on software from Softube, Klevgrand, XLN Audio and Sound Collective. The warranty period for product purchased on or prior to the 31st December 2017 remains at 24 months from the date of the original purchase. You can design your own unique combinations of instruments and effects, and use up to 16 Macro knobs to control any number of parameters.
